Ren’s teaching style is engaging and made the lesson both enjoyable and effective ! His deep knowledge of the language and culture of kapampangan shines through, creating rich and immersive learning experience. Usually I’m very shy trying to speak in kapampangan, but they boosted my confidence and remained patient and supportive throughout! I highly recommend Ren to anyone eager to learn kapampangan, as their passion for teaching and commitment to student success are truly inspiring and commendable. Ren always talks like a friend, you can feel comfortable in the class. I think it’s important for me, my vocabulary is not enough yet, when I am thinking of the word, he is patience and waits for me.

It was a good trial class. I was able to discuss my Tagalog progress, and for Ren to learn about my learning needs going forward.

I’ve only had one trial lesson with Ren but I already know we’re going to be best friends (joke lang but not really lol). He’s great to talk to and super friendly. I don’t feel judged at all which was a concern of mine because being a Kapampangan-American who isn’t fluent is something I’ve struggled with. My goal, if anything, is to connect more to my mother tongue and I think Ren can help me accomplish that. Dakal a salamat, Ren!

Ren is a great teacher and conversationalist. He always asks a lot of questions and looks for topics to make you talk more. An extremely well-read and interesting interlocutor, with whom we talk on all kinds of topics related to a more conscious life, productivity, inner peace, personal development, literature. Ren always tells you ways to say an expression with more appropriate words, he helps a lot with pronunciation too, while at the same time not interrupting the conversation and letting you express yourself without rushing, always giving you the freedom to say something in your own way pace. Amazing teacher!!!
