My name is Ken and I'm Chinese. I'm eager to help you improve your Chinese and understanding of Chinese culture, via Italki.
I have a degree in Chinese language and literature. I have a keen interest in classical Chinese culture, especially pre-Qin culture. I also like Tang poetry, Song Ci, Yuan Qu and novels from the Ming and Qing dynasties very much. If you like Chinese culture as much as I do, I'm sure we'll find many topics of common interest to have a conversation about. Thank you Ken, it’s always a great pleasure to talk with you. The time flies past in the lessons. I am remembering more vocabulary and my confidence in listening and speaking has improved a lot.
I highly recommend Ken as an excellent and encouraging teacher. He speaks slowly and clearly and motivates you to talk about interesting topics and share ideas. I have learned so much about Chinese history and culture.

Ken is an excellent tutor, I highly recommend him. He is always on time, patient and good humoured. His Chinese accent is also very standard and clear. It's rare to find such a good male teacher. 5 stars!
