Today we had a good discussion about the medical system differences between our countries. We also talked about my current diet and what I'll be doing this weekend. It was a lot of fun!

We talked about omiyage and my diet before moving on to the textbook lesson. During the lesson, Sayumi-san helped me use かもしれません correctly. I look forward to our conversation about omiyage!

Today, Sayumi-san patiently explained how a hanko works and what happens if hanko are lost. We also discussed the difference between onigiri and nigiri. Lastly, we talked about the meaning of different names and such.

Sayumi Sensei is wonderful as always. I am a shy person but I feel none of it when talking with her. I told her about my love of Vocaloid songs and Pokemon cards and she listened intently, which made me feel very seen. During the last class, while reading a text with a man and a woman talking, Sensei held up a pink maker for when the woman was talking and a green one for when the man was talking and I thought that was so cute!!

We worked through the textbook practice and discussed various things about Japan. Sayumi-san helped me learn more about the には particle combination. I look forward to our next lesson!
