អរគុណ, thank you for another great lesson. I still find reading very hard but it feels like with every lesson I can read a bit better. :)

good lesson altho I became very hungry learning vocabualary for food.

I was happy to resume classes with Dara. The lessons are always fun and I appreciate his patience when my brain goes down a rabbit hole over the nuances of spoken Khmer. Definitely looking forward to the next class.

Orgun chraen for another great lesson. Today we repeated the phrases I already learned and started studying numbers. We also continued to study the alphabet and I managed to read my first words and sentences without transliterations :)

It helps me that Dara has good audio quality so that I never struggle to hear the details in his pronunciation. His knowledge of English is reassuring. He is a generous and thoughtful man. Most importantly, I feel like I got from him exactly what I wanted: A deeper understanding of Khmer.
