My name is Abdullah (Short name is Abodi).
I am Syrian and I graduated from Al Baath University with a degree in Arabic literature. Currently, I am working for an NGO as a translator, as I am fluent in English, Arabic and Turkish. Teaching is my passion and I would like to transfer my passion to you. I love having general conversations about culture, languages, and history.
As for my leisure time, I love playing table tennis and I am good at it :) I love reading Arabic novels and I can recommend some nice Arabic books to read....Ja jako nauczyciel
I believe the best way to learn a language is to love it. Yes, I learned English and Turkish this way.
I started teaching Arabic by volunteering at Small Project Istanbul (SPI), an NGO which helps displaced Syrians in Istanbul. Many volunteers at SPI were interested in learning Arabic and I was a perfect match for them. They encouraged me to become a teacher as they believed in my teaching methods. That was the reason I began teaching on Italki in February, 2017.
I am an easy going, flexible teacher. I enjoy being a community teacher because I prefer conversation to grammar which is why I am also working at Conversations Unbound: an NGO that connects students from America with Arabic.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
We will talk about our lives, our hobbies, etc. All the while, I will be introducing new words and correcting your mistakes. Our goal is to make your conversation and speaking skills as natural as possible with playing some games

Abodi is a great teacher. He is very attentive to the needs of the student and he will guide you through the learning process without any stress or discomfort. Thanks to his lessons, I finally started speaking and became much more confident in my Arabic skills.

Excellent lesson as always. Abodi explains everything very clearly using examples and is very patient. Lessons are always interesting and Abodi is positive and makes lessons enjoyable.

Abodi is a great teacher. He explains very well and also gives examples so that I understand everything. He also asks questions so that I talk to practise.
