I use the Holy Spirit method to teach Biblical English and French, by using a Bible in your native language, so you already have a complete translation of what you're going to study, which avoids having to look up words all the time in the dictionary, and those who know the Bible well will have their favourite Bible passages directly in their heads, so they immediately know what all the words mean! It's so quick, efficient and easy to add new words to your existing vocabulary. And it's also such a blessing, because the Bible words themselves will bless you, as you read them out loud, to improve your pronunciation. So, come and be blessed!

Français Biblique

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration, and measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication. It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9).

Why is IELTS important?
More than 10,000 organisations globally trust IELTS, so when you take the test you can be confident that it is recognised by educational institutions, employers, governments and professional bodies around the world.

As one of the pioneers of four skills English language testing 30 years ago, IELTS continues to set the standard for English language testing today. Governments in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom use IELTS to process immigration applications.

How does IELTS work?
IELTS has been developed by some of the world’s leading language assessment experts and will test the full range of English skills needed for success in your new job or study placement abroad.

Choosing the right test:
There are two IELTS tests available – IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training. The test you choose should be based on what it is you want to do.

IELTS Academic - measures whether your level of English language proficiency is suitable for an academic environment. It reflects aspects of academic language and evaluates whether you’re ready to begin training or studying.

IELTS General Training - measures English language proficiency in a practical, everyday context. The tasks and tests reflect both workplace and social situations.

Who owns IELTS?
IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) - English Test Preparation

The DILF, DELF and DALF are three different tests offered by the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework. The diplomas obtained when these tests are taken situate your level within an official European guideline.

The DILF, or "Diplôme initial de langue française", tests the lowest level of French, categorised as A1.1. This level is appropriate for someone just starting to learn French, thus the name of the test: "Initial diploma of the French language". It is predominantly taken by migrants to France with little to no French exposure, particularly those who may not be fully literate in their native tongue. As opposed to the DELF and the DALF, the DILF prioritises spoken and listening communication and comprehension over written and reading communication and comprehension.

The DELF, or "Diplôme d’études en langue française", is the test that will concern most French learners, as it tests levels from A1 through to B2, covering beginner and intermediate learners. Within the DELF category of tests are four different exams. When opting to take the DELF, you will have to choose amongst the DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1 or DELF B2 tests, as each test is specially tailored to students of that level. The DELF is one of the most useful diplomas to have, particularly when applying for French jobs or for French university degrees. Most undergraduate and graduate programs require a B2 diploma, though some undergraduate programs accept B1. B1 and B2 are also the levels that most French workplaces require if your job is going to include a moderate amount of French.

The DALF, or "Diplôme approfondi de langue française", is the advanced language diploma. Two DALF tests exist: one for level C1, and the other for level C2. A C1 is required by some master’s and doctorate programs. Earning a C2 diploma usually requires at least several months of immersive learning as well, meaning that someone with a C2 level has likely already attended French university or worked in a French job.
