I started teaching Swedish at Berlitz Europe in 2019, I just loved it straight away, who knew teaching could be that fun! I have delivered 3000 lessons since 2019 and my teaching skills and confidence has improved very well. I teach true beginners to intermediate/advanced. I have various types of work materials that I use. I live in Gävle and I also volunteer at a language café for immigrants at The Salvation Army in Gävle.

I began teaching Italian as a native speaking teacher in 2012. During the years I focused more on teaching German literature and language at university, I worked as high school teacher in German and Swedish as a second language and I took different training courses concerning language teaching, pedagogy and didactic. I see myself as a very patient and understanding teacher, who likes to explain, help, and try and try again until we reach our goals. As someone who has tutored pupils from all walks of life, from absolute beginners to advanced learners, I can be of help at any stage. I can speak both formal and casual Finnish and Swedish, and I recommend that you specify which one you want to practice. Although I'm quite familiar with grammatical and other theory, I try to teach everything through context to make it meaningful. That way learning is engaging and fun, and it's easier to wrap one's head around things that way. I value that pupil enjoys the learning process and gets to freely choose the conversation topics.
