I live in the Johannesburg region of sunny South Africa. I speak Afrikaans and English, with Afrikaans being my native language. I enjoy the outdoors, love animals, and enjoy taking long walks. I enjoy spending time with people, but also like spending time by myself, reading books, and watching movies, especially documentaries.Ik als leerkracht

I offer three types of lessons - Conversational practice, General/Structured Afrikaans & Children's Lessons.
Conversational - I aim to improve your spoken Afrikaans and practice Afrikaans conversation and communication skills by talking about what you like and what your interests are.
General/Structured Afrikaans is more formal with structured lessons and focuses on writing, reading, and listening skills as well as grammar, spelling, vocabulary, sentence constructions, etc.
Kids : I offer conversational practice or general/structured lessons, as above, but include more activities, like games, songs, videos, drawing & art.

Annalise is really good at getting me to pronounce well and get started in an immersive setting - only speaking Afrikaans. I'm a beginner, but she has been well prepared to increase the the learning speed as needed. I find her easy to work with and am very happy with the progress.
