Tara is very smart and an excellent teacher. When I started, I was an absolute beginner and didn’t even know Vietnamese letters. Thanks to her, I now understand some Vietnamese and can speak a few basic sentences. I’ve been studying with her for a few months, and she always comes to class well-prepared. Learning Vietnamese has become more interesting because Tara also speaks Mandarin, which I’m learning as well. We translate vocabulary into Chinese, and it’s fascinating to see the similarities, as Asian languages often share Chinese roots. I look forward to continuing my studies with her!
