Yuri

Yuri always brings positive energy and when the conversations starts to die down, she always comes up with a topic to talk about. Even though I struggle with speaking Japanese a lot, I didn't feel that embarassed about it, Yuri waited patiently for me to express myself. It's also good practice that when I didn't know a word, I couldn't say it in English and had to describe it in Japanese. All in all, I can definitely recommend Yuri as a teacher :) ゆり先生、いつも楽しい会話をありがとうございました！

Yuri is a very easy to talk to and fun conversation partner! If you're looking to practice talking in Japanese, every lesson with her is an interesting and engaging time! She gives space for the conversation partner to talk and think about their sentences while still being able to carry on a conversation if they get stuck. I definitely recommend trying out a lesson or two with her!

Yuri always guides conversation effectively to cover a variety of topics to better the student's learning. She also will answer any question I have about Japanese vocabulary and grammar, and provide much needed examples. An excellent teacher!
