Hello! I am Makis and I am a Greek native speaker. I’ve been teaching Greek and Turkish as foreign languages. I adore teaching Turkish and Greek! I’m interested in philosophy, well-being, life and people in general! So let’s start learning! As I don’t speak English very well, but I understand better, during our lessons we will mostly have to communicate in Greek or Turkish, so you will learn the language faster and better. Please do not book a lesson if you are a beginner and don't speak any Greek or Turkish. Turkish and Greek are very interesting and smart languages that really worth learning. We are going to learn idioms, interesting words, verbs and stories. Can’t wait to meet you!

I am always polite to my students and I’m patient with them. I have experience teaching students of all backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced students. I love to motivate my students and make learning a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I always aim to make my classes comfortable and give my students the opportunity to express themselves and have more talk time, so they can build confidence and get to improve their language skills. I try to make my lessons practical, as well as personalizing them to each student. Öğrencilerimin Türkçe ve Yunanca pratik yaparken ve öğrenirken eğlenmelerini sağlamak için her zaman elimden geleni yapıyorum!

I always try my best to make sure that my students are enjoying themselves while practicing and learning Turkish and Greek! I aim to make my classes as fun and relaxing as possible. If you have any questions about my lessons, please ask me – I’d be happy to answer. I enjoy being a teacher because I like helping people. I think teaching is one of the most rewarding jobs a person could do, especially when I get to see all of the amazing progress my students make! Öğretmen olmayı seviyorum çünkü insanlara yardım etmeyi seviyorum. Bence öğretmenlik, bir insanın yapabileceği en ödüllendirici işlerden biridir. Öğrencilerimin geliştiklerini gördüğüm zaman çok mutlu olurum!

Class with Gierasimos was a great experience for me. We had a lot of different topics to discuss. We were doing tasks from the materials which were prepared for me. It was demanding but gave me actually a lot of fun. Gierasimos is very understanding and easy going techer. I can definetely recommend classes with him.
