Hello everyone, I am Monica. I am a native Italian speaker and live in a lovely city by the sea in Southern Italy. I studied English and Japanese at university and I specialized in legal translation and localization. I worked in marketing, in the travel industry and in e-commerce companies. Since I graduated I also gained some experience in teaching as a language tutor to students and workers. I enjoy getting to know new people and cultures, and I genuinely like helping others improve in their knowledge and use of the language.
I love nature and the more I grow the more I feel the need to spend time in it. I play guitar and music has always played an important role in my life.Ik als leerkracht
As soon as I graduated I started helping other students or friends in language learning and I kept teaching in between jobs or in my spare time. I do one to one, face to face or online lessons.
I feel genuinely satisfied when I see results in my students and I think that conversation is a really powerful way to learn a new language as it allows us to learn having fun, sharing our ideas and experiences and comparing our cultures and traditions, that is, free from the burden of grammar rules and without even realizing we are learning.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
We will practise speaking and will get to know each other. I will encourage you to speak in Italian most of the time without worrying about mistakes which are the best way to learn. If you need we can practise other skills like reading, listening, writing or we can explore grammar or business Italian.
