But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime. I´ve always loved meeting people and talking to people so when I stopped travelling and settled down here in Mexico, working as teacher was a logical step. I really enjoy seeing my students develop and improve. I´ve taught people between the ages of 14 and 70. Your friend that will help you learn Dutch, with a soft spot for grammar😳 In the past, I have helped people who didn't speak any Dutch at all with the basics but also Dutch people. Usually I would help them with written langauge, because they would need someone to go over a text and check for any mistakes. I love it when people want to speak Dutch to me and therefore I am very patient. As a matter of fact, I usually prefer listening in general when it comes to speaking. Although I like grammar, I'm NOT a teacher so I won't be able to answer all grammar related questions / provide a curriculum. I believe that any language can be acquired without necessarily having to teach first. The way I see it, grammar just will help you understand the language better.

In Thailand I started to teach at the local primary school of my village.
