Hello everyone!
My name is Daria and I'm very excited to be a part of this community. Teaching has always been a great passion of mine alongside with travelling and cinema. I truly believe that learning different languages not only allows us to explore various cultures and parts of the world, but also to understand ourselves better while giving an amazing opportunity to broaden our horizons, knowledge, general perception of simple truths of our world and people around.
Being able to speak several languages helped me to form strong connections with people from different parts of the world and also get deeper into my favorite hobbies. It'd be so wonderful to help you in your own journey!지도 경험
I graduated from Peter the Great St. Petersburg University and received a bachelor's degree in linguistics. To be more precise, my field of studies was Teaching Russian as Foreign Language: Theory and Methods, so I am a qualified Russian teacher.
I started tutoring at the university, and I have been teaching languages for 4 years now.
I am a dedicated and patient teacher, who tries to use an individual approach to each student, while making our lessons both productive and entertaining.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
During our first lesson, we will discuss your initial aim in learning Russian and general expectations from our classes in combination with some fun activities, which help you to know more about Russian culture and feel more comfortable at the lesson.
In general, our classes will include:
- Listening and reading activities, which help you to know both colloquial and formal Russian (based on your goals)
- Topic based discussions with the consideration of your personal interests in order to expand your vocabulary
- Different presentations, entertaining grammar exercises

After only a few lessons we have covered a lot of material, while not being overwhelming. Daria clearly explains concepts and immediately makes you feel at ease even when working on challenging areas. She is professional, organized and uses many exercises to reinforce the topics. I look forward to more lessons in the future.

Daria helped me prepare for an exam (and now we're preparing for another one) and I couldn't have found a better teacher. She kept me motivated and adapted every lesson to my needs and interests. She's introduced me to Russian culture and traditions, she always found a way to make every lesson fun and entertaining, and to me that's the key to learning a new language. My exam went great and now I'm definitely more fluent and motivated.
