Hi everyone! My name is Chloe. Having taught over 2000 hours of online or offline lessons of Cantonese, Mandarin and English, I am a patient and passionate tutor who is always thrilled to be a part of my students' learning journeys! Born and raised in Hong Kong, I am a native speaker of Cantonese. Besides, I can teach Cantonese in English, Mandarin, Japanese or Cantonese depending on your preference.
By the way, I am living in Japan with some travel experience in different parts of the country. So if you are interested in Japanese cultures or travelling in Japan, I would be eager to share with you my interesting stories and fascinating experiences! :)

毕业于香港中文大学，主修翻译系，具有多年中(粵/普)英翻译及教学经验。
- Each Cantonese character will be romanized in a learner-friendly form called “Jyutping”, e.g. nei5 (you), zou2 san4 (Good morning.)
- Majored in Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
- 7+ years of experience in conducting one-on-one Cantonese classes for daily conversations, Travel Cantonese Dialogues, business communication, etc.
- Explain grammar rules, vocabulary and listening skills logically.
- Available for classes on italki classroom or Skype from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., from Monday to Friday, Hong Kong Time.

I have taken several Cantonese lessons from Chloe. I feel that I have made great progress. Chloe is super nice!! She is very patient and conscientious in class. She takes a lot of notes in class and sends them to me after class, enabling me to learn a lot. I am very happy to become her student:)

Chloe is really one of the most amazing Cantonese teachers I've ever had - which is why I try to have a class with her every week! I really appreciate that she's very good at correcting my tones and helping me find better ways of phrasing things. I especially appreciate it since I know I've built up some bad habits and she's slowly helping me undo those. But even more than that, I appreciate what a good conversationalist she is. I always look forward to our lessons - even at the end of a busy, stressful day - and I'm always surprised at how quickly our lessons seem to go by.
She's been really helpful, a joy to talk to, and I've really felt my confidence improve studying with her. I know feel confident enough to engage actively in conversation with my husband's family, and have even been able to start watching TV shows because of her help. I can't recommend her enough!
