I had the pleasure in the last 6 years to help 400+ students from different cultures acquiring Arabic or French. All of them were source of inspiration for me, both as a teacher and a student!
I deeply believe that my job is not to produce grammar "knowers", but language speakers who enjoy learning and are able to express themselves confidently & accurately.
Personally, I'm interested in geopolitics, history Asian cultures and cognitive neuroscience.

I've been intensively teaching since 2017 and had more than 4000 classes with 400+ students from all over the world. I've helped many of them to pass the DELF and DALF exams, to be better prepared for a job interview, a trip to an Arabic or French-speaking country... or simply to become a language chameleon 🦎😉내 강의 및 지도 스타일
The main goal of each lesson is to talk in the targeted language at least 90% of the time. Each lesson is prepared beforehand and tailored to the students goals & needs.
I introduce conversation, storytelling and other methods of comprehensible input from day 1, which implies a spontaneous and natural practice of grammar and vocabulary.
I also prepare a language play or role-play for almost every lesson, since playing and enjoying the class is the best way to acquire knowledge!
I don't systematically correct mistakes, but orientate the interaction to the practice of what needs to be corrected. I also regularly ask the student to do homework (text, video preparation or writing/exercice) 🙂내 수업 자료

Leena is a wonderful and friendly teacher who focuses a lot on comprehensible input which is very helpful and means we can spend the whole session in French. However, her understanding of other languages is helpful as it enables her to give very useful feedback comparing the French approach to my native language (English) which helps me to understand the underlying perspective rather than memorising facts or phrases. Likewise, she has a large vocabulary so is often able to help me learn synonyms or different ways of articulating myself which stick better in my brain by being connected to what I already know, and subjects that I am passionate about. I remember a lot more of what we've learned this way compared to >10 years learning French in a very structured grammar-focused manner. She also does a lot of work marking and providing feedback on exercises, so I feel much better prepared for my DALF exam. I would highly recommend her, especially for those sitting DELF/DALF exams!

Leena is an excellent person and teacher. My French lessons with her are fun and comprehensive. I never thought a one hour class could be so interesting. I am never tired and am constantly learning and pushing myself.
I am learning more with Leena than I have ever learned in schools or with face to face private teachers. She makes French interesting and easy. She is patient and flexible to your needs. I think her true passion and efforts for teaching and learning languages really make a difference.
If we all had the opportunity to find such a great teacher, we could all be multilingual! I cannot recommend her more!
As bonus, you will not only learn a language but loads of interesting content! She really has a lot to offer!

Leena is an incredibly thoughtful (and patient) teacher. She makes the French language relatable, using pop culture, media, world history and current affairs to help students connect their learning to relevant topics which naturally reinforces learning and makes it fun!
I have never had so many "a-HA!" moments as I do in Leena's sessions!
