I have experience as a tutor from 2018-2019 at the Language and Culture Services Center at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Since 2020, I've been teaching Bahasa Indonesia, Javanese, and English on Italki. After graduating in 2020 with a degree in Indonesian Language and Literature, I published several research papers, which you can find on ResearchGate. I've also been trained in "Bahasa Indonesia for Foreigners Teaching Methods." My syllabus is designed to help you achieve your goal of learning Bahasa Indonesia.지도 경험

Hahaha my first Bahasa Indonesia lesson!
Yacub explained the pronunciation rules and the differences between words (e.g. tidak and bukan) very clearly and patiently. And also from this lesson I learned a bunch of new words and useful expressions.

Mas Yacub has been a wonderful teacher for my 12-year-old son. He found a way to engage his interest with Indonesian comics as well as practicing conversation. He has always been 100% punctual and engaged and willing to accommodate time differences between the US and Indonesia. Highly recommended!

The first intro lesson was very useful. He was friendly, welcome and knowledgeable about what I needed for the lesson and how to proceed. It was engaging and he met me where I was but also challenged me to stretch my capacities or increase my skill. Happy to schedule further lessons and will highly recommend him.

This is the 2nd class with Yacub and again I really enjoyed each minute of it! Time really flies due to how the class is organized. I really appreciate all questions regarding the Javanese language are welcome and Yacub likes to share his knowledge about the deeper meaning of certain words and historical background. This class was quite intensive with a lot of new words which really motivates me to practice, memorize the new words and to learn more.
