Yukako

Yukako is an amazing teacher. She is patient and kind and has amazing conversational skills with fantastic English capability. I have been her student for well over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed being her student and learning from her. I look forward to many more lessons and one day being able to have a fully Japanese conversation with her. Thanks for everything you do for me Yukako, I really appreciate it!

The writing practice has been really helpful. I ended up writing about some things from when I was little, but could never really express it properly in Japanese. She corrected it and we went through it line by line. She taught me some new words and some super convenient conjunctions! I noticed a bunch of N3 grammar that I haven’t started yet, but because of reading practice everything made sense. Where there were subtle differences in meaning that a native speaker would know what I meant but it wasn’t natural she explained these so that I could understand the difference. Yukako Sensei is awesome!

Thank you Yukako for the lesson! It’s our first, and I had a great time talking with her. She is very friendly, cheerful, easy-going, and gave a relaxed learning atmosphere. She gave me a list of suggestions on what we can talk about for the next lesson which I think is really helpful! 今日のレッスン楽しかった！ありがとうございました！

Great first lesson with Yukako-san! I felt so comfortable from start to finish, Yukako-san is so easy to talk to and adjusted quickly to my level of Japanese.

She is very kind and thoughtful, made me feel comfortable. I hope I can learn more with her.
