I live in Rijeka, Croatia. I have an MA in History and Croatian language and literature and 8 years of teaching experience, including 4 year of teaching English online. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I´m passionate about history, music, movies, theater, animals, traveling etc. I always like to hear about other people´s opinions and feelings. I also like to talk about news, events, technology, science, global topics ect.지도 경험
I am very friendly and patient. My goal as a teacher is for you to feel comfortable speaking Croatian and English.I offer personalized lessons and materials, always adjusting to your level. I offer structured lessons, but also conversational ones.
We can start learning language from the scratch (A1 level), or we can work on improving your conversation skills, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and make you a more confident and self-assured speaker. I can give you homework and provide you with literature (textbooks, workbooks), etc. 📚
Also, during our lessons we can have a free and friendly conversation just about any topic.🗣️ I will point out to your mistakes and give you a feedback at the end of the lesson.
Motivating a student to consistently move forward is crucial to me.

Thanks for the great lesson. He speaks clearly and adapts his speech to your level. I was able to understand quite a lot. Marino is patient, friendly and provides lots of tips and ideas, and also helps you with useful expressions that are a reflection of how the language is used today. He gave me some ideas for Youtube channels to follow, songs, and created a bridge between other Slavic languages, where the similarities and differences are to be found. This helps me get a better overview and acquire in-depth knowledge!

Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation practice with Marino. I'd become quite rusty having not used the language in some time, but he was helpful, patient and interesting to chat to - all of which made it a top notch session.
