I am a life-long learner and always looking for the next adventure on the horizon!
I have a Bachelor's Honours Degree in English Studies, a Foundation degree in hair and makeup for fashion, (both from leading universities in the U.K), a 120-Hour TEFL certification and a Cambridge English certificate in teaching IELTS.
Through my love of travel and education I have lived in diverse places such as Australia, Japan and Saudi Arabia.
At the moment I am learning Italian...so, I know how you feel!지도 경험
As your teacher I will be sensitive to the challenges of speaking English, and always provide you with support. I understand that it takes courage to try. My lessons won't feel strict. I want you to have fun and not be scared to make mistakes!
I aim for you to feel confident and become independent using spoken and written English, so I will always provide lots of opportunities for you to speak and express yourself.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I have taught non-native students for over 8 years, so I understand how to support you through fun activities to build your confidence and independence.
I believe that if we can laugh together and reduce any fear of making mistakes, then we can learn more!
Some examples of lessons we could have together include:
- Natural conversation (any topic)
- Vocab (how to use more variety)
- Commonly used idioms/slang and meanings
- Pronunciation (so you can sound more natural)
- Role plays of common situations (travel, socialising, telephone calls etc.)
The key is to have fun and to communicate...

I've been taking english lessons with Karen for about 3 months now and i can say that it is the best decision i've made!
Karen is hands down the best teacher i've met. My conversational fluency grew tremendously and i feel more confident to speak in english.
She's a passionate teacher, respects your learning style, encourages you and with her, you will never lack topics to talk about! I can go on and on like that but i will stop here :)
