As a Linguistics student I am more than an average language aficionada, I'm developing an understanding of their technicalities.
From a young age, I loved picking up foreign words from movies and replicate them in my best possible gibberish. Having realized my potential, I now divide my free time between people-listening (mostly to analyze speech styles in the wild!) and dipping my toes in the field of AI and voice synthesis.
I am also researching the field of language acquisition and have a particular interest in bridging the gap from intermediate to fluency. Hence, I am NOT accepting new beginner students at the moment.翻訳を表示する

My rather 'unorthodox' method of learning languages by myself has provided me the necessary skills to attain native-like fluency - countless have been the times when I got mistaken for a native speaker when travelling :)
If that is what you too aim for, there's no one better out there who could teach you the witchcraft of speaking in an accent and on top of that, sound convincing as well.
I work best via a flexible approach - ditch the textbooks and handouts. We'll be getting chatty!
My approach is tailored according to your goals, needless to say if you prefer a standard 'by the book' method, I can totally make that work.レッスンおよびティーチングスタイル
I am for the moment no longer accepting beginner students in any of the languages I teach. Please contact me if you estimate having a minimum of A2+/B1 (lower-intermediate).
Main area of expertise are conversation practice and accent improvement classes in any of these languages - includes: breaking down your target-accent, methods on how to attain it
Upon request, I can also provide help with grammar and vocabulary.
!!! PLEASE NOTE - I take myself the liberty to consider completed lessons where students are absent for half or more of their duration. No attempts to start the lesson during its remainder will be entertained. (i.e. 15min+ out of a 30 min lesson)教材

Maria is a great teacher, time flies during the lessons. Athough she can easily explain almost everything on romanian, in those very rare cases when it's needed resort to another language, her perfect French comes in handy !

Maria is awesome! We talked about different dialects and regions of Romanian and Romania, plus regionalisms and cultural differences we’ve observed in the Romanian diaspora in other European countries. We both have a passion for linguistics and plan to talk more about this in the future.

My lesson with Maria was very enjoyable! Even though we needed to talk about heavy things that have happened culturally and socially recently throughout the West this fall, and even though I feel a little rusty because I haven’t had a Romanian lesson in several weeks, Maria was able to help me get back up to speed with ease.

I really enjoyed today’s lesson with Maria! We discussed neurodivergence and how the concept applies to students in school, language learners with their hobbies and centers of interest, and the social differences in how children and adults receive diagnoses and treatment that help them us socially and cognitively in Romania, France & the USA (since Maria and I are also deeply acquainted with French culture).

I love working with Maria so much! After not meeting for about two months due to our mutual travel and vacation plan in the summer (as teachers), it was, as we say in Romanian „cu mare drag / plăcere” (a real pleasure) to catch up and discuss some cultural concepts! ⭐️🌞⭐️
