I just completed a 5 lesson course and felt a bit of despair when I realized it was the final class, so I took immediately purchased five more! We had covered language basics up until ordering food. Our classes were a mixture of academics and just genuine conversation about life and culture (using more and more Portuguese). I am beginning to enjoy the language very much because of these classes. I've been taking classes with Jivana for over a year and am always grateful for her patience and ability to answer questions concisely so the concepts are easier to understand. If you're looking for a Portuguese teacher, without hesitation, I'd recommend her.

Jivana provided a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere to help get me started with Portuguese as a beginner. She was great at explaining nuances in vocabulary and pronunciation (especially differences with Spanish) and guiding me throughout the lesson. Had a lot of fun!
