my name is Sindy, I was born and raised in Germany and I am a native German speaker. I traveled for 9 years and lived and worked in 11 countries. Now I live in Sumba. I am also a facilitator for breathwork, meditation and ice baths.

Before teaching on italki in 2020, I worked as an English teacher in Seoul. During my time here, I helped more then 1000 students prepare for language exams, job interviews, and develop confidence in speaking with colleagues, spouses, and more. I am very patient and have a calm and easy-going character, which has proven to be very positive for my students repeatedly.

She also has deep cultural understanding. Living in a variety of countries has given her insight into diverse life experiences. She can intelligently discuss nearly any topic. Sindy is cosmopolitan, yet down-to-earth and friendly.

Yup, it's me again, everyone! One hour felt like a nice breezy chit chat about life. Each class with Sindy makes me feel so encouraged and honestly, we just jive really well. Sindy asks interesting questions relevant to my life, knows when to let me free-flow and when to interject/support me.
