We will start by getting to know each other to make the best strategy for you according to your needs and wishes. You may want to learn informal or formal language. Or maybe you want to know just the basics. We will discuss all that in our first lesson.
If you are an advanced learner, then I suggest we talk about some technical articles, where you learn all the technical new words for you to enrich your vocabulary. I will try to refer back to previous lessons to see if you have remembered the words.
I like to give historical context of all the grammar I explain as well. I as well try to learn as much as possible and try to share the things I learn about my language with my students.教材

I like the teacher because I learn well through his explanations and he has the right balance of friendliness and seriousness. He’s not too strict, but also not too easy on me! I feel my Dutch is finally improving. He takes time to respond to my questions even if I ask him to repeat. We do a lot of examples and exercises and I get to practice a lot in and out of class because of the sufficient homework. I definitely recommend this teacher!

Tim is such an professional tutor! He always provides useful feedback and correction to my speaking and grammar practice, and can solve my whatever questions on the Dutch language. I would say I really enjoy working with my teacher and I can feel my Dutch improving. We have fun conversations which help me to improve my Dutch, and we make jokes (in Dutch), which equally helps my Dutch. Apart from this, we still manage to learn the grammar, and when I do not get something, I just ask and Tim can explain it to me in many ways until I get it!

I think the teacher explained things really well, and conducted the lesson in Dutch which was really cool. He helped me work on my grammar which is my biggest let down, and I felt very comfortable throughout the class.
He’s a great teacher and he’s very friendly and easy to talk to!
