Hi,
My name is Karen. I am from Suriname. In 1975, my country became independent from the Netherlands. So, Dutch is my mother tongue.
I love languages. I am proficient in English and I also speak French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish and the local Sranan Tongo.

Karen is a very prepared teacher. She is patient and don't mind to repeat things many time. I love to study with her, especially during late evening as we always study poems or cultural local stories and it is very relaxing while learning so many new things!
