My name is Federica, and I'm a 27yo Italian girl. I'm very passionate about languages and I hold a BA in Chinese studies. My career as a tutor - and then as a teacher - started during university. I used to tutor and support both international and Italian students. In 2018, I had the amazing chance to go to China and work as a foreign teacher in a private school, this experience blessed my heart and I decided I wanted to pursue this career. I got my ESL qualifications (TEFL, TESOL and TEYL) and I started teaching online right after my graduation.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I really like teaching, and I think my background helps me a lot in sharing my passion about foreign cultures. In my opinion, curiosity is the most important thing while studying a foreign language. Memorizing vocabulary and phonetics may be easy (sometimes) but trying to fit in someone else's world and trying to see it in the same way can be very challenging.
I'd like to share as much as possible and ensure that each student can step out of their comfort zone and try to express themselves in another language.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I'm a young teacher and I like keeping my students active. My classes are enjoyable, I like mixing theory and practical exercises, so everyone can put everything on practice from the very start. I design my worksheets personally, and I like planning my lesson schedule. Federica is great! She doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable to make mistakes. After a couple mins in, she spoke in only Italian and it challenged me to think in Italian and respond in Italian even if I felt like I didn’t have all the words or the grammar right. We’ll continue to work on sharpening my grammar skills with exercises and practice. I have taken many Italian courses but the opportunity to converse with a native speaker who can correct you when you make mistakes is amazing. I have gotten to a point in my Italian studies in which I understand much more than I can formulate into speech myself and the conversational practice Federica offers is super great for me.

Federica is incredibly impressive with her knowledge of language. I've already learned so many little details about Italian grammar that I previously missed while trying to self-teach. Her lessons are thorough, fun, and relaxing. GRAZIE :) <3

Federica es una magnífica enseñante. Muy amena y muy creativa para sacar conversación. Usa juegos para provocar el desarrollo del lenguaje y durante toda la conversación va guiando y acompañando. Son muy divertidas las sesiones con ella.

Disfrute mucho de la sesión con Federica. Es muy amena, transmite mucha confianza y buena vibra. Me hizo las correcciones con mucha paciencia y fue llevando la conversación de manera muy fluida para hablar de diversos temas. Es muy buena enseñante.
