I am Victoria and I'm from the city of Moscow, Russia. Before the pandemic broke out last year, I travelled quite a lot and lived in 4 different countries for 4 years. My friends tell me that I'm incredibly international, as I daily communicate with friends and students from all over the world, listen to music from many different countries and follow the news from all the regions of the world. Apart from this, I'm very interested in everything that has to do with arts and Humanities. I regularly visit art galleries, play the piano and the castanets, love seeing arthouse films and dance flamenco. It would be amazing if we could find similar interests!:)Che tipo di insegnante sono
I studied Linguistics (French and English) in Moscow and afterwards I did my Master's degree in Educational Sciences in Finland. I did an internship in Italy, where I taught Russian to Italian students at the University of Pavia, and I also did another internship in Spain for teaching English. I prefer to act like 'a friend' to my student rather than as an authoritarian controller. I 'guide' the students' learning, helping them to achieve their best results and making sure that they enjoy learning with me.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Being a professional linguist and having studied 5 foreign languages, I have been to hundreds of various language classrooms. I do my best to bring only the best practices and experiences, that I have learned from many different teachers in different places, to my classes. I believe that education should be student-centred, that is, the student's needs, goals and learning style are to be put first. I make individual learning plans for each of my students, depending on their goals, learning styles and time. I strongly believe that we can learn effectively only when we truly enjoy learning, which is why I make sure each of my students is happy with their classes.Il mio materiale didattico

TEFL 168 hours - The TEFL Academy - 2021A TEFL certificate grants an official right to teach English as a foreign language. The courses provided me with the basic knowledge of various teaching techniques, lesson structure, and classroom management. In order to get the certificate, I had to submit 3 quite challenging assignments and do miltiple tests at the end of each unit.

My son, now 12, has been working with Victoria for a couple of years now. He's gone from not speaking a word of Russian, to reading short selections of Russian literature. Victoria is an amazing teacher, keeping him engaged and learning through this whole process. I highly recommend her!

My 11 year old son has been studying with Victoria for several months now. Victoria is an engaging, committed, and skilled teacher. My son has made excellent progress, and remains very enthusiastic about his study.
