Hello everyone! Thank you for taking a look at my profile!
My name is Keisuke and I have been teaching Japanese since 2021.
When I was younger, I was a guitarist in a band, and then I traveled to 25 countries as a backpacker. After that worked on a deserted island, and had many other interesting experiences.
Before becoming a Japanese teacher, I was one of students of Spanish at italki. (I'm still learning, though😉）
I wanted to share the joy of learning a language with others, so I took the training to become a professional teacher. Let's have fun learning a language together!

I am a curious person and have a lot of experience through traveling and various jobs :) As a professional teacher, I will make sure you learn Japanese well while having a fun conversation with lots of materials!

For beginners: First, we listen to a lot of audio and read a lot of text to get a lot of input. The course starts from simple grammar studies using textbooks.
For intermediate and advanced students: Lessons will focus on your output and communication skills" in Japanese.

Keisuke-sensei is an excellent teacher. He adapts the class to your needs, has good materials, is patient and explains really well. In only a few months I can say that my Japanese improved a lot. I specifically wanted to improve my writing and reading skills, my keigo, and my knowledge of the N2 grammar, but the classes also led me to practise speaking and learn new and useful vocab. After a few months of practice with Keisuke, I was invited to interviews with a Japanese company for the first time in my life, he helped me prepare for it and I got the job. Since then he’s been helping me to get ready for my new life in Japanese and I genuinely believe that my classes with him have helped me start this new chapter with confidence. Highly recommended, and thank you very much Keisuke-san!

Keisuke-san prepared a really detailed lesson for me about the passive voice in Japanese, and as usual, he did a great job of making the concepts clear. I definitely feel like I have a better grasp on how Japanese uses its passive voice, and apparently, we're only half way through the material! I recommend Keisuke-san for any grammar questions a student might have.
