Hey, my name is Arthur, and I am originally from Marburg, Germany. Since my dad moved to London when I was three years old, I grew up speaking German and English. I have traveled to 36 countries on all continents, excluding Antarctica, and lived in Australia for one and a half years. In January 2020 I moved to South East Asia, where I currently live between Thailand and Indonesia.
My hobbies include traveling, sport, scuba diving, outdoor activities, and movies. If you are interested in any of those, I am sure we will have lots to talk about. :)Che tipo di insegnante sono
In September 2020 I started working as a science teacher at an international school, teaching children from the age of 8 to 12. After completing a 120 hour TEFL course, I also started working as a private English tutor for 5 to 12-year-old children.
Since I started working as a teacher, I realized how much I enjoy teaching and seeing my students make progress. So I decided to start teaching the language that I feel most comfortable with – German.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Learning a new language should be fun. So I will make sure that in our lessons we talk about the things that truly interest you. Whether it be traveling, your hobbies, work, culture, Germany, or any other topic you want to talk about.
The lessons will be centered around having a conversation since I believe that is the best way to learn a language in a way that allows us to actually apply it in real-life situations.Il mio materiale didattico

I am simply ecstatic to have finally found the absolute perfect German teacher for myself here on iTalki. I am confident that by seeing Arthur regularly over an extended period of time, I will eventually be able to speak the German language. I appreciate, above all, Arthur's willingness to adapt to my personal learning style and method, which probably matters the most to me in any learning process. I have learnt so much in just an hour, be it in terms of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, the spontaneous construction of sentences or listening skills. Besides the productivity and effectiveness of our first session, Arthur's wonderful personality and energy made it a fun and extremely pleasurable experience, even though I was exceedingly nervous before the lesson due to my lack of experience with the language. Thank you so much for your help and patience, Arthur! I look forward to working with you in the long term and making progress whilst enjoying the journey.

The lessons are really well structured, including some formal content as well as casual conversation. Arthur is also great at correcting mistakes and helping you to better understand grammar rules. I'd recommend to anyone who is looking to improve their German speaking ability!
