My name is Joanna. I am a native Polish speaker.
I graduated from University of Warsaw with MA degree in Polish Language and Literature. I also completed post-graduate studies in the field of Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language at the Warsaw University. I also speak English, French and a little Russian. I'm a thoughtful and emapathetic person. People are comfortable talking at length with me. I evaluate ideas by looking at them from variety of angles. I always consider how people are affected by what I do and say.
I love to read, write, dance, talk to my friends and play with my cat - Profesor.

Classes with me are mainly conversations, but I also propose writing and reading in order to be able to find the proper words, to be sure of the correctness of the sentences … only you, your thoughts and a sheet of paper is the best first step to be more fluent in speaking, speaking with confidence. Joanna is an extremely encouraging teacher who prepares lessons tailor-made to student interests. Joanna sent me a Polish YouTube video to discuss for today and it sparked so much discussion that I have an entire page full of new vocabulary! I am really looking forward to our future lessons and conversations :-).
