Hello :) my name is Sharon. I am a native speaker of Dutch and a fluent English speaker. I am gentle, patient and open-minded. I look forward to meeting you!
My interests include singing and music, gaming, journaling, watching series, yoga, walks in nature and reading. I like expanding my mind, growing as a person, and learning new things through connecting with others. I'm looking forward to learning through our exchanges as well!

I like working together with my students to find a study method that suits each person. It is important to me that you feel comfortable while studying with me :) I will do my best to make sure that you feel at ease. In our first lesson together, we will discuss options and decide which lesson rate applies to your needs. Trial lessons may be longer than 30 minutes if my schedule allows. Out of trial lessons? Message me, and I can send you a lesson invitation for a reduced rate!
Options for lessons include:
- speaking practice (with corrections based on your preferences)
- cross-talk or direct method
- reading articles or watching videos + discussion
- reading short stories or dialogues
- textbook lessons, from casual read-throughs to lessons with extra materials and exercises provided
- practice recordings or review files

I just had my first Dutch lesson with Sharon, and I liked how she was attentive and calm throughout the lesson. She was also clear in her explanations - highly recommend this teacher!
