I have been teaching English and German for 20 years in language institutes, schools, NGOs, workshops, tribal villages, private individual and group lessons, kindergartens, preschools in several countries such as Austria, Germany, India, Nepal, Laos, Thailand, South Korea. I teach as well my two daughters. I provide tailor made classes. With plenty of experience I teach you German as a language and culture.
I graduated from a language school, then studied anthropology at the Vienna University and currently finish my PhD thesis at the Pune University, India.

I have a wide range of teaching experience, from tribal schools in Thailand and Nepal to elementary schools, kindergarten and an adult language academy in Korea. I like teaching languages, because it always means cultural exchange.
Learning languages should be fun and every lesson is tailor-made according to the needs of the student.
I teach German in an integrated way, grammar, conversation, reading and writing.
I will give you homework and motivate you to learn as well at home.

Integrated learning method!
I have a wide range of materials, textbooks, PDF files, children's books, teenager literature, newspaper articles, games and videos for different age groups. I adjust my teaching method to my students. Students have different expectations and I try to find them out. I ask my students for feedback and let them chose the material; try to have a balanced class, grammar, conversation, quiz, games and free talking, reading and writing.
As I have learnt several languages (Russian, English, Latin, Korean, Hindi), I know about difficulties and pitfalls of learning a language.Il mio materiale didattico

TeacherI was teaching in an elementary school and this gave me the possibility to explore many group games and improve their language skills with games and activities. I teach a lot of kids on italki and this offline experience helped me to create flexible learning plans for them.

Another great lesson as always. Today we discussed a video that talked about ancient wisdom and its place in today's society. Through this discussion, I was able to practice and refine specific grammatical points and learn vocabulary and expressions one would not normally encounter in a textbook or other learning situations.
