About Me:
Hello! I'm Gavin, a 25-year-old English teacher from England, with a passion for making learning fun and engaging. With a TEFL certification and one year of teaching experience, I have successfully completed over 1,000 lessons, both on and off iTalki, and have had the pleasure of meeting and teaching 200 students from diverse backgrounds, and bringing out the best of their English - I hope to do the same for you!Che tipo di insegnante sono
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an advanced speaker - I try to encourage and bring the best out of all my students and target their weaknesses while praising them for their strengths. It is no small feat to learn a language, so I think effort should always be celebrated. Ranging from conversational classes, debates, reading articles and analysing poems, looking at song lyrics or movie scenes, lessons are always tailored to the learner's needs AND interests.
From our very first lesson you will dive into English and learn new skills and abilities to help you overcome any doubts and express yourself as comfortably and confidently as you can in your own native language.

Gavin is a great teacher. I am so glad to have classes with him. He is tactful, patient and so kind. When things have to be corrected he does it in a really nice way. Every class I learn something new.

Another great lesson with Gavin! He's well prepared with many interesting materials relevant to the topic, with which he helped to expand the vocabularies and phrases.He also helped to correct my writing and explain the grammar and vocabulary usages in detail!
