Laurea triennale - Social StudiesI am an education student in the Philippines . I finish my degree last last June 10, 2023 as college department honor with a degree bachelor in secondary education majoring social studies. I experienced teaching in a classroom setting both in-campus and out-campus. I teach Understanding Culture Society and Politics subjects to all grade 11 students both academic and non-academics strand. I am optimistic, driven and passionate in teaching with a student-centered approach.

I've had a couple of lessons with Janine so far, and it's been great to practice my comprehension AND conversation with her. Her positivity and enthusiasm are infectious, which push me to express myself in Cebuano with the same fervor. Furthermore, as someone who was raised in Davao City, I enjoy connecting with people like Janine from other parts of "Kabisayaan" as I refresh on my Cebuano. I enjoy hearing, comparing, and sharing the unique ways we speak Cebuano with local flavor. It's so great we have iTalki as a platform to do this.

The trial lesson I think went well and I’m encouraged that I can learn to become conversational in Cebuano. I’ve been so frustrated trying to lean on my own. Having a 1 on 1 teacher will be a great help.
