Hello everyone, I am Tijana, a person passionate about science and languages and a native Serbian speaker who lives in Montenegro. In the last 3 years, I have tutored 250+ Serbian classes to learners from the USA and German-speaking countries in exchange for English and German language practice and taught 400+ classes to 39 students from more than 11 countries on italki so far. After completing my experimental biology and biotechnology studies, I have traveled extensively and visited many European countries. My hobbies include weaving, polymer clay and blogging, to name a few. I have published 3 scientific papers. For me, the glass is always half full!Che tipo di insegnante sono
As a community tutor, I have a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching. I am an effective communicator. I am flexible, adaptable, committed, motivated and able to transfer these qualities to my students and implement them into my classroom. I have a strong ability to plan and organize classes effectively. And all that with a sense of humor! I work hard on making creative and engaging lessons. I include interactive games and videos in my lessons so that there is something for everyone. My lessons are created to both visual and auditory learning types. I offer a structured lesson plan for beginners, but I am open to making customized and personalized lessons as well. I also offer conversational lessons for ALL LEVELS. B1-B2 structured lesson plan coming soon! It always makes a lot of fun learning Serbian with tijana, she is always perfectly prepared for the class with a lot of exercises! She is the best Serbian teacher I had on I talki so far.

I really enjoy the lessons and have the impression that I'm advancing well. Tijana always makes sure to provide varied and well balanced lessons, she provides lots of good material.

I really love studying with Tijana, she always speaks Serbian and does not switch to English, except when I ask. She explains grammar understandable. She is super friendly, always has a big smile and has patience, I am not afraid making mistakes with her. I like the study material that she uses. She's always on time. 100% recommend!

I cannot rave enough about Tijana! I have no doubt that she is one of the most diligent teachers on iTalki. If you really want to work on and seriously improve your Serbian, take a class with her.
