Kay Vong

Great class today, reading the dialogues and adapting them to answer was very helpful, as was describing the scenes pictured. It helped me connect thr language and concepts.

Kru Kay is an excellent teacher. He gives cultural context to phrases, and judiciously uses the class time, dividing it into helpful segments, which includes learning phrases, along with learning alphabets, vowels, pronunciation. He is patient with the student's pace and questions!

This was my first lesson with Kay, & it was very good! He has a good way of going over the fundamentals to make sure that I learn them, but not spending too time on things so that it becomes boring drills of easy concepts. The lesson moved at a good pace & was very encouraging--the Thai alphabet can be intimidating but the way Kay breaks it down & shows some of the structure behind it makes me excited & hopeful that I can actually learn it!

Good practice reading today. And it helped to review the ห อ leading consonants again.

I really enjoyed the reading exercise today, especially working with images to associate with new vocabulary. Focusing on reading Thai script is helping me progress a lot.
