I am George. I was born and raised in Crete, Greece. I have a BSc in Renovation & Restoration of buildings and a MSc in 3D Animation. I have spent my masters degree year in Scotland. Recently I moved to Athens, and I can see the Acropolis from my balcony. I am interested in many things and I have a positive attitude. I love teaching Greek and helping people achieve their goals while having fun. So now I do it full-time, and according to my reviews, people are happy :)Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am a Greek native speaker, with a standard accent. I am also very fluent in English. I am teaching Greek online full-time for 2+ years, with 450 students and 7000+ lessons given. I have extensive experience with students of all levels, from absolute beginners, to semi-fluent speakers, and I effectively adapt to their needs.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My main goal is to make people enjoy the learning process, while achieving their goals quickly and effectively. My teaching style is very flexible and evolving, in order to meet your needs.
If you are relatively experienced in Greek, we can have conversation practice, where we can have a casual conversation about any topic you want. I will let you speak as much as you want and I will mention everything that needs improvement, I pay full attention.
If you are a beginner, we can have more structured (but still very flexible) lessons. I have the right material to kickstart you and give you guidance to this beautiful language. I want you to receive the maximum amount of knowledge, affordably!Il mio materiale didattico

Over the years, I've had more than 100 lessons on italki and Γιώργος is the best teacher I've ever had 😊 he's really easy to talk to, he really encourages me to find the right words and declensions and he's super patient and supportive

George knows how to keep the conversation going, asking relevant and thought-provoking questions in language accurately targeted to my comprehension level. He provides immediate written grammar corrections and vocabulary notes via chat, so that I have access to that data after our class. There's a good reason his schedule is always full!
