Goedemorgen, middag of avond! My name is Eva, and I’m here to help you master everyday Dutch.
I’ve guided many on their language journey—whether it's children abroad with Dutch parents, newcomers to the Netherlands, or expat friends. Though I work as a legal specialist in marine conservation, languages are my passion. I’ve spent years learning French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese, so I get the challenges of learning a new language. As a former Amsterdam resident, I know many foreigners struggle with Dutch, often saying, “but everyone speaks English.” Ready to ditch the excuses and start speaking Dutch? As a teacher, I draw from my own language-learning journey. I once thought I wasn’t good at languages, but now I use five on a daily basis —Dutch with friends and family(my native language), English and Spanish for work, German to communicate with my PhD university, and Portuguese with my in-laws (my partner is Portuguese).
