Hi everyone, I am Leyla. I was born and raised in Turkey. Having a Turkish father and an English mother I was raised to be bilingual.
I've lived in Scotland, England, Germany and recently moved back to Turkey,
I've learned Spanish, German, French, and Hindi.
My interests are learning about philosophy, psychology, arts, and languages.
I enjoy travelling, practicing yoga, spending time with my nephews and learning new skills :)
I have fun teaching the classes, so the lesson does not feel boring... I believe in the magic of learning through enjoying! :)

I have sat in the student seat many times, so I relate to the difficulties you might be facing.
I studied languages at high school, and Translation and Interpretation studies at university.
I gained my CELTA teaching certificate while I was in Edinburgh. Since then I have had experience teaching both in classroom environments and one to one classes.

We will mainly work on improving your conversational skills. Through talking we will improve grammar and vocabulary. The classes are tailored to fit your needs.
For conversation, each class we choose a different topic, these topics can vary from very beginner conversation topics to talking about deeper subjects. I send articles and files to support our classes. I also teach grammar, so if this is what you need we will have classes learning new grammar rules.

Another great lesson with Leyla. I love how she customises my lessons with a interesting mix of free flowing conversation, reading and grammar in a way I can learn and understand easily.
