Hey, it is so good to meet you!
My name is Gil, and I started my academic journey at the University of New Haven, CT, as an international student having a fantastic time and exploring college life. I'm currently a Philosophy and Cinematography Major at Tel Aviv University.
I love almost all kinds of sports, reading and of course, music is a big part of my life. I'm playing all sorts of instruments like classical piano and guitar, and I also love singing and meditating. I taught Hebrew and the Bible (Old Testament) as an assistant teacher in high school for students with learning disabilities in Israel. I was preparing them for the national matriculation exams. I'm a great advocate of positive reinforcement, meaning- going with the flow of the student. I believe that the best way of learning anything is by emotion. What I mean by this is that if something, for example, made you laugh, made you scared, angry, or caused any feeling to rise, there's a good chance you'd remember it. So my approach is through music, and Tv series that are easily accessible, we can go through the lyrics, lines and such and have a lot of fun learning the language instead of doing a lot of work. It is a very efficient way of advancing. Of course, if you have homework in school or exams or any bible reading you want to go through in Hebrew, I can be in great assistance as well.Mes ressources d'enseignement

It was my first lesson with Gil and I'm surprised how much I learned from him just in one hour. Gil is very patient, which is very nice since I'm a beginner. He wrote down all the words that are new to me, so that I could look them up later. And he is very friendly and fun, so the learning process is very enjoyable. Excellent lesson! Thank you, Gil!
