Fantastic teacher for those seeking the confidence, structure, and motivation to improve their conversation skills. I especially like the format of using materials such as podcasts, TV series, etc., and conversing about culture or current events that are interesting and relevant for foreigners in Denmark. I've already booked a package of 5 next lessons. Highly recommend!

I’m a perfectionist who hates making mistakes, even in a language I’ve only been learning for a year. Mette is a wonderfully encouraging teacher, who creates a safe environment to practice speaking, and make and learn from mistakes. She seems to have an innate sense of when to push me to figure something out myself, and when to offer help along the way. Mette is a great teacher! She takes the time to find out what the student wants to learn, then tailors the lesson to reach those specific goals. She very clearly explains a few mistakes--which is great because I totally understand what I did wrong and how to fix it, but I don't get overwhelmed that every word out of my mouth is wrong. I want to speak more Danish after a lesson--no more wanting to hide under a blanket with shame!

I've had a number of lessons with Mette by now and although I started from "I can't really say anything", I already switched to "hey, I'm not doing too bad" in just under two months. Not only her methods and materials are efficient, but she herself has also been highly motivating and extremely supportive as a teacher. She understands the importance of proper foundations in learning a new language, practical examples used in classes and gradual but steady progress. I feel encouraged and am so looking forward to taking further lessons. Tusind tak, Mette, og vi ses snart!
