Hello! My name is Jelena and I am a professional Italian and Spanish Teacher. I graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade , and I have a master studies degree in Applied Linguistics. I started to do private lessons years ago, and I discovered I love it! Then I started to teach online in 2017. I had students from all over the world, and I have experience in teaching Italian, Spanish, English and Serbian to students of all ages and levels. I always try to make student feel comfortable, so I always listen their requirements and preferences. I have so much material that we can use for learning, so it's always student's choice. With some students I worked for several years and saw their progress from comletely beginner to being able to speak only in the target language.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
Depending on student's preferences we choose to focus on grammar, conversation, culture, some specific topic, or anything student is interested in. I always suggest full immersion in language we learn, so we can use everything from movies, music, recipes, artcles, ecc. SInce grammar is also important, I try to do half lesson grammar/book and half just conversation and practice. I also suggest individual work and practice, homework or other task I can give you if you have time for it.Mes ressources d'enseignement

A great first lesson with Jelena. She had excellent resources that she introduced at an appropriate pace, and tackled the issue of pronunciation immediately. Jelena is a warm and patient teacher and I look forward to more lessons with her.

Jelena uses great topics to keep my daughter interested, focused and challenged. Her teaching style is friendly and fun, the small homework assignments are in line with my daugthers interests and there is plenty of speaking exercise. Thank you Jelena!
