I am 25 years old, I grew up in Groesbeek, a village next to the border of Germany. I recently started living abroad for an indefinite period because my boyfriend works on a sailing boat. As a teacher i am patient and flexible. An agreement is an agreement, so there may be expectations on both sides. I am serious about my work, but a joke can always be had. I give writing assignments, reading and listening assignments and we will talk as much as possible in Dutch because that is how you learn best in my opinion. I enjoyed the way the lesson was conducted and the flow. I feel Mariska adjusted assertively and quickly to my level. I also thought she was prepared to teach. For me, it was important she was proactive and that I didn't have to spend lots of time explaining what I wanted to move forward.
