The best way to learn is by experience. Using stories, songs, and other resources, the learning is more fun and engaging. That will help with increasing the vocabulary, and understanding the grammar rules. With verbal communication, there is the benefit of having conversations with native speakers. With a Yemeni background, I can show the proper pronunciation of "Chet" and "Ayin". Those two letters have Arabic sound and a lot of people struggle with them at first.
