Joséphine

Joséphine is always so patient and helps me formulate my sentences when I struggle. She is hands down the best tutor I’ve had on italki. She is easy going, makes you feel emotionally safe to make mistakes, creates just enough structure without completely dictating the lesson, and is knowledgeable about the grammar rules. I always look forward to my classes and I’m thankful she challenges me to improve!

Josephine creates a very friendly and supportive learning space. She is a natural conversationalist which is most helpful when speaking in a language you might not be comfortable with yet. And she takes very detailed notes for each lesson. Merci Beaucoup Josephine.

This was my fifth session with Josephine. I can't recommend her enough as a tutor - she's very polite, organized, and helpful. Her teaching structure is very intuitive , and she creates a fun worry-free space to practice and hone your speaking skills. Elle est super! Cinq étoiles!

I had several tutoring sessions with Joséphine to work on my formerly-fluent French while I was visiting Montreal. I’m so glad I chose V. She was so knowledgeable and professional and was able to figure out my level very quickly. My fluency did increase,of course, but Joséphine also helped me with some grammar and vocabulary errors that I didn’t realize I was making. She was very friendly and gentle during our sessions, and I can imagine she would also be a wonderful teacher for beginners.

Victoria was great in this conversation lesson! She asked some questions to find out about what I wanted to focus on and then did an excellent job of asking me open/ended questions to get me talking. She typed some errors and new vocabulary and then sent me the list so that I could review them. She’s very professional and positive, and I’ve booked another lesson with her.
