Hi, I'm Ana and I'm passionate about teaching and I would like to help you. I´m 26 years old and I´m from Guatemala City. I have around a year of experience teaching Spanish to people of all ages, and for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. I have taught using several different techniques and methods that are geared towards improving your learning in an easy way, be it in areas of grammar, improving your conversational abilities, listening comprehension, pronunciation, and more. I am very patient, and as someone who has studied both Spanish and English for many years, I understand the challenges that learning a language can present, and can personally relate to the student as they embark on this journey.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
If I were to describe my teaching style in two words, it would be that it is adaptable, and motivational. As far as being adaptable, as I mentioned above, I have worked with students from 7-years old to 60+, at all different levels, from many different countries and backgrounds, and with unique strengths and struggles in learning Spanish. Based on your knowledge of the language, we can identify together the areas that you will need to work on and improve. As someone who is in the late-beginner stage, I've only done the first lesson with her. She was happy to go back and forth between English and Spanish and her English was very understandable for someone who typically learns Latin American English. The first lesson didn't have much structure, as we mostly assessed where I'm at, but we did have some Spanish conversation on day one and I plan to continue doing lessons with her in the future.
