Hello! I am Shoko, a professional Japanese teacher. I've been teaching Japanese for more than 6 years. I am qualified and try to make all the content easy to understand. In addition, I always keep in mind to make my lessons fun, and cozy, and never make you nervous to speak Japanese.
Beginner language learners tend to feel nervous about speaking and become less confident because of teachers' too much correction. I never make you feel like that! Please relax and enjoy Japanese :)

Shoko-Sensei’s classes are always so good! She provides the same questions at the beginning of each class so I can get into the practice of how to answer. The topics she comes up with are very useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend her, especially if you’re new to Japanese

I’ve had a few lessons and I already feel confident and motivated. Shoko 先生 always takes the time to make sure I understand everything and answers my questions thoroughly. Shoko 先生 is a marvelous teacher! I was SO nervous for my first class, but she made me feel comfortable right away and I am not afraid to make mistakes when we practice speaking! She is very flexible when it comes to all the questions I ask or when discussion naturally comes up. This makes class a fun mix of both textbook and organic lessons. I would highly recommend her.
