My 15 year old son really enjoys Spanish lessons with Jon. Jon is very organized and pedagogical, but also keeps it interesting and engaging; a very natural approach to teaching language.

Jon es un profesor increible, no encontrarás una persona mas agradable. Te hace sentir como un amigo. Me ha ensenado mucho y me ha ayudado mucho a mejorar mi español. Jon utiliza sus propios materiales, que son excelentes. Siempre disfruto nuestras conversaciones y espero nuestras clases.

Jon is an extraordinary teacher. I started my Spanish journey with him in the late September 2020 and after nearly 4 months I can have an hour conversation in Spanish. Teaching is his vocation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was my first lesson with Jon. I loved his enthusiasm and his approach to teaching and language learning, which I totally was in sync with as a language tutor myself and an avid language learner. I do believe a language should be learned in an organic way from a natural context, while having fun with the process. If you feel the same, I believe Jon is a great teacher to enjoy the marathon with. I certainly look forward to my future lessons with him!

If you’re looking for a Spanish teacher that has excellent communication skills, articulates clearly, and makes the chat fun at the same time, Jon is the one to go for 😊 I’ve had probably more than 30 teachers throughout years of learning foreign languages, and he is no doubt one of the best. He is a great conversationalist to practice speaking, as he actively listens, asks open-ended questions to get the conversation flowing nicely, and is really patient when I’m struggling to find the right words. You can tell that he is passionate about teaching through his energy, and the way he explains concepts. Furthermore, he articulates clearly, projects his voice, making it easy to understand—and I believe that is the most important aspect for foreign speakers in the early stages. Highly recommended!
