Kinycia

Kinycia is a very wonderful teacher. I really like that we can use Cantonese to practice for speaking and listening. I had fun in her class and she has lots of knowledge. Thank you for a great lesson!

I had a scheduling conflict for a couple of weeks, and I wasn't able to have my weekly Cantonese lesson with Kinycia. I was so happy to see her again!! Kinycia helps me so much with my Cantonese, and I really missed our lessons.

I have a good friend in Hong Kong who has a baby who I love to play with. Today Kinycia helped me to learn a new children's song in Cantonese, a song I didn't know. I really appreciated the help, and I learned so much! Thank you!! I'm excited to sing the new song to the baby.

Kinycia and I have an ongoing conversation that has spanned many months, and each week we magically manage to pick up where we left off. I appreciate how she always introduces new concepts in Cantonese, while also weaving in cultural information about life in Hong Kong. She's such a great teacher and incredible person!

I love the fun activities we do during our lessons. Kinycia approaches every lesson with such a kind, friendly attitude, and she's always there to help me find exactly the word I'm looking for in Cantonese. I continue to make progress speaking the language thanks to her! Thank you!!

Because she has gotten to know that certain topics interest me, Kinycia has gone to the trouble to look into different subjects so that she can talk with me, focusing on things that I enjoy. She always goes the extra mile, and I know that my Cantonese skills would have stagnated had it not been for her help.
