This is Bri and I also go by my Korean name 연주(Yeonjoo).
I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. I'm a language enthusiast myself! This led me to live in the US before and I'm currently living in Malaysia.
Also, I'm an avid traveler. (Let's talk about your best travel story. I'll go first, mine is when I was stuck on the road in Colombia and teamed up with other travelers to get out of there haha.) But at the same time, I do love my little daily life filled with yoga, healthy homemade meals, good books and beautiful sunsets.

Let's have a blast while we are organically studying Korean by having a conversation that could happen in real life. Since I spent my whole life studying foreign languages, I can relate to the struggles of learning and speaking a foreign language as a second language. But I believe this makes me a more attentive tutor because I've been there and done that. Most importantly, I have found the fun in it! I'm more suitable for those who would like to improve their real-life Korean skills. I'll be more focusing on teaching how to converse in Korean more casually so that you can use the expressions when talking to Korean friends or local Koreans. Not only I will teach you general Korean by textbook but also will help you catch the subtle differences between terms, nuances, and deliveries. I've been taking classes with Yeonjoo for a while now. She is very kind and always helps me correct my sentences. Despite my slow progress, she remains patient and friendly. I highly recommend trying a lesson with her!
Yeonjoo also takes notes of all the words I'm struggling with, just as I requested, which is fantastic. Thank you so much!
